Kroegbier Wit was first introduced in late May 2007.
Note that all Kroegske beers are still original recipes from
us, Nadine Demeestere and Danny Verbeke.
Brewed, using the Picobrewery Alvinne brewing equipment. Alvinne
Picobrewers Davy Spiessens and Glenn Castelein are not involved
in any matter of Kroegbier recipes !!!
The warming sun at the Kroegske outer terrace is just PERFECT
to taste the Kroegske Wit.
Indeed, Kroegbier Wit is a summer beer with quite some refreshing
characteristics.
Time
to taste !!!

Kroegbier Wit. (33cl. volumes)
Danny pouring out - with style - his own creation: Kroegbier
Wit.
Beautiful tasting glass too ! A longish Hoegaarden shape of
glass.... perfect !
As
expected from Brewery Verbeke-Demeestere, we experienced some
excellent wheatbeer.
Great white head. Nice yellow colored beer with a slight haziness.
5.5 vol% strong. A full-malt beer => No addition of sugar.
Important: This witbeer(wheatbeer) has no Coriander or other
spices inside. So, as everyone would've expected to taste
inside a wheatbeer, this isn't the case here. It is no secret
that Danny just hates Coriander flavours in a beer.
Tasting this wheatbeer gave still some "spicy" touches.
The spice-tastes are coming from the hops and yeast. Remarkable
!!!
Note that there's also some American Cascade hops inside this
beer !
